In cases where permanent makeup or small body tattoos are no longer desired due to personal preference or an attempt to correct undesirable procedures, a highly specialized form of removal is available. There is a greater risk of scarring with laser tattoo removal and in cases where the color in incompatible for laser removal or the area is too sensitive (i.e. eyeliner), removal with a special salt-based product is safe and effective. For complete removal or partial removal before design/color correction, a treatment plan will be established, usually involving multiple treatment sessions over a period of weeks or months. An in-office consultation will be required in order to estimate the extent of correction necessary and associated fees.
